We manufacture clamps with the PP200CNC Horizontal Press Brake

In this video, a customer from Ukraine needed to manufacture clamps in 3 different sizes. To do this, we designed and manufactured 6 custom-made dies to work with the PP200CNC Horizontal Press Brake. Each clamp is made in 2 operations, which is why we prepared 3 pairs of special dies: 1 pair for each size 2 operations per part maximum precision in every bend In addition, the machine leaves the factory with the programs already entered into the CNC control. This way, when the PP200CNC arrives in Ukraine, the customer will be able to start working immediately, without spending time on initial configurations. We also optimized the machine stroke to reduce production times and make the process more agile and efficient. The dies are made of case-hardened F-5, a suitable material for this application, since the sheet thickness is very thin and the force required from the machine is minimal. The PP200CNC has a force of 20 tons. For this reason, in this type of work, it is essential to adjust the pressure to the minimum necessary in order to protect the dies against possible errors during the operation. Every custom project has its own story. In this case, it starts in our factory and continues in Ukraine, where the customer will be able to produce their clamps from the very first day. We adapt standard dies or manufacture special dies according to each customer’s real needs.
