New Generation of Hot Forging Presses PV21: easier to operate, more precise, quieter, safer, and packed with many other features.
The main differences are the speed and impact force. Nargesa forging presses are increasingly in demand for reasons beyond productivity and power. Noise. The noise generated by a hydraulic press is practically nonexistent, making it much more suitable for installation in modern facilities or near populated areas.
All types of ferrous materials can be processed, including brass, bronze, gold, silver, etc. The most commonly used is iron or steel in various grades. And practically the only way to work with them is hot, whether using a coal forge, induction heating, or a gas furnace—the latter becoming more common due to its convenience, cost savings, and faster operation.
The Nargesa PV21 forging press delivers a force of 21 tons, which is more than enough for hot steel forging. Pressure regulation is not necessary, as the press includes built-in sensors that control the stroke limits, greatly simplifying operation. Other presses often lack these limit switches and must use pressure regulators or other far less efficient systems. The operation speed is constant: one speed for descent and another for piston retraction.
Thanks to its quick-clamp system and the included die holders, the PV21 press allows customers to easily manufacture any custom die, as blacksmiths are often used to building their own special tools for specific jobs. Nargesa also offers a wide catalog of standard and optional dies available on request.
Maintenance is minimal. Simply keep the columns clean and greased once a week. The rest of the machine does not require any maintenance.
The two main advantages are noise reduction and power. Unlike other forging machines such as power hammers, the hydraulic press is extremely quiet, staying below 65 decibels. This makes it much more suitable for operators, coworkers, and nearby neighbors. The second advantage is its power, which is measured not in kilograms but in tons. The Nargesa PV21 model delivers 21 tons of force on hot iron, providing excellent efficiency and therefore high productivity.
Yes, upon request, these presses can be integrated into production lines, collaborative robots, or other automated systems. Only the supervision of a Nargesa engineer is required.
