After testing several ways to control deformation in square tube with the MC550 bending machine, we have drawn these conclusions. Greater wall thickness/gauge: a quick and direct solution, although it increases weight and cost. Modified roller: allows you to control where the deformation appears, ideal if that area can remain hidden or does not affect the design. Fine sand and marble powder: they can work well, but require great precision and compaction. In our tests, they improved the finish, although small wrinkles still appeared. Rosin: the test that surprised us the most. An impeccable, clean, uniform, practical result that is easy to apply. In summary: there is no single valid solution. It all depends on the tube, radius, finish, weight, cost and final application. Now we want to hear from you. Which option would you choose: greater thickness, modified roller, sand, marble powder or resin? Do you know any other trick to improve tube and profile bending?
