In this video, we see how to bend 3 different Foster profiles with a single specific set of rollers.
In this case, we designed a set of 5 rollers that, combined in different positions, allow us to adapt the machine to the 3 profiles requested by the customer.
But today we want to go one step further and ask a question to those of you who work directly with this type of profile.
A customer from Italy has sent us a profile with a section that is difficult to form. To bend it correctly, the process requires filling it with sand or marble powder, welding the ends, bending it, opening it again, emptying it and cleaning it.
Our question, as manufacturers, is the following:
Can the Foster profile be an alternative to this type of profile?
And, above all: what advantages or applications mean that a profile with such a labor-intensive bending process continues to be used?
We are very interested in hearing about your experience, because many times we design the bending solution, but we do not always know the final application of each profile.
