In this video you will learn how to use our Non-mandrel tube and pipe benders CC60 and CC90 CNC. With them you will be able to bring to life a wide variety of projects and see the endless possibilities that these machines have.

The Non-mandrel Tube and Pipe Benders are an essential tool for many companies and professionals working in various industrial sectors such as construction, automotive, furniture manufacturing and decoration, among others.

The versatility of these bending machines is surprising, since they allow to bend tubes of different sizes and of different materials with great precision and efficiency.

In this video tutorial we show you how to work with the Non-mandrel tube and pipe benders CC60 and CC90 CNC to make handrails, bend square tube or calculate tube developments. With the mandrelless tube bending machines you can manufacture different parts for different applications, such as: bicycle parking, stainless steel handrails for swimming pools, windows for Can-am buggies, handrails for boats, bed bases or bumpers for 4x4 cars.

In this video tutorial you will see how Technology 4.0 and the proper use of CNC Control can offer numerous benefits in the bending process:

  • Technology 4.0 brings numerous advantages in industry and manufacturing, including improved efficiency and productivity, optimisation of production processes to reduce costs, improved quality and safety by reducing errors and accidents at work, the possibility to manufacture customised products, and the opening up of new business opportunities. In addition, 4.0 technology can also contribute to environmental sustainability by optimising the use of energy and material resources.
  • CNC Control is capable of high-precision and repeatable processes, enabling the manufacture of complex and accurate parts and components, as well as the programming of a wide range of operations and the ability to quickly switch between different jobs and parts. CNC control programs can be accurately stored and repeated to ensure consistency in part production. It is an automated technology that can execute production operations efficiently without the need for constant human intervention improving production efficiency by reducing set-up times and greatly increasing production speed.

How to Measure Tube Development: Step by Step

As demonstrated in the video, there are different ways to measure tube development:

  1. In this case, we will use a simple string to trace the geometry of the piece, through the center of the tube.
  2. We make a mark and measure the result.
  3. We take the measurement from the ends to the beginning of the curve and measure the two internal angles of the piece.
  4. Once the tube is cut to 645 mm, we mark the two starting points of the curve.
  5. We place the millimeter matrix and screw it in, adjust the carriage, and create a new program in automatic mode.
  6. We select the measurement and thickness of the tube and note the degrees; we can save it in the program with the desired name.
  7. Now we can start the machine.
  8. The CNC info key allows us to save extra information in each program, and in the "note" box, we can write down instructions that we would normally jot down in a notebook.
  9. We start by manufacturing the metal chair following the instructions from a blueprint.
  10. Next, we manufacture the window for the Can-am buggy.
  11. We continue with the fabrication of the stainless steel ladder and the pool railing.

Parts That Can Be Produced with a Non-mandrel tube and pipe bender

A Non-mandrel tube and pipe bender is a specialized machine that allows for precise bends in tubes of different sizes and materials without the need for mandrels. This versatile tool offers a wide range of possibilities in manufacturing various parts and components.

Some of the parts that can be produced with a mandrel-less tube bender include:

  1. Railings and handrails
  2. Furniture: Curved structures can be created for furniture manufacturing, such as chairs, tables, benches, and decorative elements.
  3. Automotive Components: Non-mandrel tube and pipe benders CC60 and CC90 CNC can be used to produce curved tubes used in the automotive sector, such as roll bars, exhaust systems, chassis, and internal structures.
  4. Construction: Curved parts used in construction, such as brackets, frames, metal structures, and decorative elements, can be fabricated.
  5. Transportation Industry: The Non-mandrel tube and pipe benders CC60 and CC90 CNC allow for the production of curved components used in the manufacturing of bicycles, motorcycles, off-road vehicles, golf carts, and more.
  6. Sporting and Recreational Equipment: Curved parts used in the construction of sporting and recreational equipment, such as playground structures, bicycle frames, and gym apparatus, can be manufactured.
  7. Architecture and Design: The Non-mandrel tube and pipe benders CC60 and CC90 CNC are ideal for the fabrication of curved architectural elements, such as facades, columns, arches, and artistic designs.

These are just some of the possibilities offered by our Non-mandrel tube and pipe benders CC60 and CC90 CNC. Their versatility and precision allow to create a wide variety of bent parts and components for different industries and applications.
